The pulsating action of the Tassie Devil lure is transmitted to the rod tip, which shows as a “nodding action” that’s proof that the lure is swimming correctly. If this rod tip action isn’t present, either a piece of weed, or a fish is on the hook.

The loose flight stainless steel centre, or the line-through rigging method in the Tassie Devil lure prevents fish from throwing the hook, as both methods allow the lure body to slide up the line away from the fish.
